If you wish to transform your Seat Ibiza Tdi 130 into a killer of a Gti, Power System has the answer.

All you need is a simple additional box to transform a car. This is the case with this Seat Ibiza fitted with power System electronics. Microchip magic enables the VW 1.9 Tdi to kiss the 170 bhp barrier with a consequent torque of 37.5 KGM. The result: it beats the standard version hands down in all areas. A 10 miles/h improvement in top speed, 1.5 s less for the 1000m standing start and 1.4, 1.5 and 1.5 seconds less respectively on standard acceleration in 4th, 5th and 6th.

Performances that only give a glimpse of the system’s potential since these times were measured in the rain. Our example was also fitted with 17” racing wheels, very useful for trying to restore handling, adversely affected by the ample torque… The injector unit responds much more vigorously at all revs and the amount of punch is quite exceptional. The turbo comes in at around 1600 rpm but the most violent thrust is around 2000 rpm. Vibrations can be felt with this sudden influx of power. Once beyond this, the mechanical system races right up to the fixed regulator set for just before 5000 rpm. It is not advisable, however, to seek to go into the red since the engine flattens out above 4000 revs. This mechanical metamorphosis will cost you 910 Euros.
